Reader's Den is Hibernating

For how long? I'm not entirely sure, and there's a chance that she may never wake up. Still, that doesn't mean you shouldn't read, enjoy, despise, and/or discuss the 46 reviews, 16 guest posts/interviews, and 5+ contributor posts.

Future Developments

When I finish the last five books in the Upcoming Book List, I'm gonna completely give Triple R a new layout and change it's name...or at least one word in the name. To what exactly?

Triple R: Read, Rate, Reiterate

There may be a slogan:

"A Crazy/Random/Awesome Commentary on the Literary World"

....Or something like that. Because I'll be creating a small business, which is still untitled but very much planned out, that will have a reviewing and promotion section, there's no reason to have that section here as well. However, I don't want to kill this site just because I'm expanding. So instead I've decided to turn it into a place where I share all the awesome things I've seen on the interwebz and talk about things happening in the literary world that I have an opinion about. Which is almost everything, actually.

The new Triple R will be snarky, more open to discussion, more informal. But it'll also be really fun.

First things first is finishing those last 5 books on the list. I'll have to reread Sacrifice by Dakota Banks out of respect to her and the story. It's been too long since I've had any time to do ANYTHING but homework. And when I sit down to reread that, I'll also sit down and get to the others.

So yeah....there's the future developments. ^_^

Update

I am currently at my first choice college participating in an intensive six-week scholarship program. I thought I could juggle my homework, writing, personal life, and business ventures. However, until August 7th, I now know I can't. The homework and personal life has to come first because those are two things I don't have a choice in. Trying to put either aside for business ventures or writing/editing/reading/reviewing has back fired on me a number of times since I got on campus. I'm not playing when I say it's way too hard on my physical and mental health, definitely since homework itself can take up to 6 hours even with no distractions.

So this is what I'm saying...until this program ends August 7th, I'll have to put a hold on the Upcoming Book List. I'll basically have to put a hold on this site and Tiffany Rambles because I just rarely have the time any more. I've tried my hardest to make the time. That's not the issue. I schedule it in, but this program demands so much of my attention - with evening classes/meeting and a full plate of homework and events - that I instantly have to schedule it out.

The moment I can, I will jump right back into everything. I want to so very badly! There are many wonderful authors I want to interview and feature, many awesome books I want to review, many venues I'd like to discover. But, at the same time, I can't kill myself with ambitions. For right now, the most I can do is apologize to the authors on the Upcoming Book List and let them know that I will take care of them as soon as I can and with all due respect. In fact, if you are Dakota Banks, Pierre Roustan, Michelle Davidson Argyle, Allan Leverone, or Phil Wolters, this message is for you:

I am very sorry! I hope you can be patient with me for a little bit longer.

This is scholarship/college time for me. ^_^
