For how long? I'm not entirely sure, and there's a chance that she may never wake up. Still, that doesn't mean you shouldn't read, enjoy, despise, and/or discuss the 46 reviews, 16 guest posts/interviews, and 5+ contributor posts.

Helpful Articles for Writers - 9/17/2011

Usually, I list a number of Helpful Articles based off of the newsletters I get e-mailed, but today I'm doing something a little different. I'm going to gather all my articles from throughout the web and share them in one place - here! Since my birthday is tomorrow, it's something of a writerly gift to myself, a way of seeing what all I've done up to this point in my life.

If you'd like to see all the reviews I've written, here's a list.

**********************************************************************************

This episode of my FB and Marketing series, the very first episode, is also the longest. Keep in mind that this series was made a couple of months ago, so Facebook may have changed a little of its features since then. It covers the following aspects of Facebook:  How to sign up, Utilizing the News Feed, How to use Networked Blogs, How to set up and use Events, How to set up and use Groups, and How to set up and use a Page.

Facebook and Marketing: Episode 2 - Genuine Networking
This episode is different from the one above, in that it's less of a guide and more of a series of paragraphs on how to get sell, sell, sell out of your mind so you can start actually selling. It covers the following things: How I started and why it helped, Getting 'sell, sell, sell' out of your mind, Quality over quantity (in terms of FB friends), but quantity helps, Why being genuine counts!

Facebook and Marketing: Episode 3 - Growing the List
This episode switches back to the guide format. Befitting of the episode number, I offer three ways of generally growing your FB friend list.

Very explanatory title. I give seven methods of deepening your connections with the people you've met on FB.

This is the article I'm most proud of. It was liked 40 times, had 11 comments, and was the first article I ever successfully posted on another's site. The first draft race is for people who find that, no matter how hard they try, they can't get past the finish line (or can't finish the story's first draft).

I'm BIG on lists. This article explores how lists can help anyone with goals.

This article covers the following eight aspects of reality. I discuss where I've seen them used and/or my thoughts about them in general:
1.) Bathroom breaks
2.) Showers and Baths
3.) The usual inconsistency and irrelevancy of dreams/nightmares
4.) Training
5.) Sicknesses
6.) Recovery from injuries
7.) Meals
8.) Unrefined talking

First I provide a dictionary's definition of the word; then I give my explanations on said definition. It was a new, fun article format for me. I should do it with more words. Hm

A 12 question interview with the wonderful author J.S. Chancellor!
